The Woolly Rhinoceros (Coelodonta antiquitatis) is an
extinct species of Rhinoceros that lived throughoutEurope and
Northwestern Asia during the last Ice Age (+10,000 years ago).
Their origins go back to the PlioceneAge (+ 1.5 Million years ago) Rhinoceros
of China.Much like the Woolly Mammoth,
the Woolly Rhino had long gray/brown hair that made it well adapted to
the harsh climate of the time. They grew to be as large a 11 foot long
and bared a pair of horns on their head, the largest being about three
(3) foot long. Early humans hunted the Woolly Rhinoceros and
drew pictures of the animals on cave walls as far as 30,000 years ago.

are partial pelvises, femurs, scapula, vertebrae, or any of the specimen
